Coronavirus 2nd Wave

Coronavirus 2nd Wave

Ordinarily this is where I’d talk about Mystical Force, but today I felt it was more important to discuss Covid-19. As many of you know Canada seems to be experiencing the second wave of Covid. I know it’s hard to think about going back into lockdown like we were in spring but that could end up being the case again. I know most of you aren’t looking forward to the idea of being forced to stay indoors, or even the thought of being temporarily out of work due to your business being ‘non-essential’. I personally don’t like the idea much myself, but if we are to truly beat this virus, then we all have to do are part.

I know as we began reopening it was easy to let our guard down and start acting as if everything was normal, but as the health experts kept telling us we have to remain vigilant. So please, I’m asking everyone to help do your part. If you have to go out, please wear a mask. Please wash your hands frequently and/or use hand sanitizer. Remember to social distance (stand 2 m/6 ft apart) and if you think you might have symptoms, please get tested and self isolate.

I know most of us want things to return to normal as soon as possible, so do I, but the best way to do that is by following the guidelines laid out by Health Canada. As we’ve seen in the US, ignoring health and safety rules, protesting lockdowns and politicizing the virus does nothing to help our situation, in fact it only makes things worse. The virus doesn’t care what your political views are. It doesn’t care about your race, age, gender, religion or socioeconomic status. The more we resist and refuse to act responsibly, all we do is prolong the very pandemic we want to end.

I’m no doctor, or expert on infectious diseases, I’m just a concerned citizen using my blog as a means to help spread the word about Coronavirus so we can all overcome this disease. If we all do our part, we can help get things back to normal as quickly as possible. Stay safe, peace and love to you all.

Namaste
